Sudang Lepet

Literally, the word "sudang" means salted fish, while "lepet" means bad luck. So if combined, sudang lepet means a “unlucky salted fish”. How they make it? To make sudang lepet first fish should be cleaned. After that the fish is grilled over wood burning while pounding with a special tool. Struck not only at the top, bottom,too. Such manufacturing processes that make the fish into a flat and crispy. After it done the fish will be combined with the special salt-chili ingredients. Usually this Sudang Lepet will cost you around Rp. 10.000 in 1 package which contains six large sudang lepet, or ten small sudang lepet. We can get this Sudang easily lepet in Singaraja.
